I spent some of my I-should-be-sleeping hours watching the first part of No Direction Home: Bob Dylan, which is Martin Scorsese’s documentary about, well, Bob Dylan.

It seems that Scorsese was able to get Dylan to “talk straight,” something that he’s notorious for not doing.  (After watching some online footage of the ridiculous questions Dylan was asked in early interviews, I don’t blame him for resorting to tongue-in-cheek responses.)

It’s amazing the people that Dylan knew, many of whom appear in the film.  People like Liam Clancy, Joan Baez, and Pete Seeger (to name a few).

Now I have to wait for the second part of the film to arrive from Netflix…
