I’m sure the Foley people are often overlooked in movie production–at least by the audience.  This little video gives an idea of how much they do to enhance movies.  Although I do have to say, I’ve always had a problem with the “patented” horse hooves.  The noises they make imply a much shorter stride than most horses have when they’re running.
