Who’s That Standing Behind The Door?

I want to see Robert Duvall’s new movie, Get Low, despite some of the negative reviews it’s received.  I didn’t always like Duvall, but I think my opinion started to change when I saw him in To Kill a Mockingbird.  He was amazing as Boo Radley, and he never had to say anything.  Now that’s acting!

  1. Regarding Robert Duvall: Open Range is one of my favorite westerns, and he and Kevin Costner are undoubtedly some of the most awesome cowboys ever.

Sometimes I come upon the movie while channel-surfing and simply cannot look away, especially during the truly brilliant, long gunfight finale.

  2. Mary Lou (Anderson) Wesolowski

Robert Duvall in Lonesome Dove was my all time favorite of his movies. And I’m not that fond of westerns!

  3. I’m thinking I’m going to have to watch “Lonesome Dove” again. It’s been a long time since I saw it!
I think it’s a testament to Duvall’s acting that he can convincingly play a cowboy, even though in real life he seems very far removed from a cowboy…
