Why are comedies not the same today? Â Some are good, but there seems to be a plethora of bad comedy.
We’ve gone from movies like Dr. Strangelove and The Pink Panther to movies like Anchorman and Grown Ups.
Maybe the real problem is that I miss Peter Sellers.

I will admit I have not watched Grown Ups, but I haven’t heard a good thing or read a good review of it until your comment. And I thought Anchorman was laaaaaaaame.

Everyone I’ve talked to who has seen Grown Ups has had nothing but good to say about it. It’s quite funny.

Judging by the previews, it doesn’t look like my kind of comedy. I like wit, which Adam Sandler, for one, is not that full of. He’s full of a certain type of humor, but not always wit.
