I can’t believe I’d never watched Terms of Endearment.  It’s almost worth it for some of the actors, namely Shirley MacLaine, Jack Nicholson, and a young Jeff Daniels.

The story focuses on the relationship between a mother and daughter, and how their lives change over time.  It’s an interesting look at relationships of all sorts.  Terms of Endearment reminded me a little of Steel Magnolias, which is a little ironic because Shirley MacLaine is in both of the movies.  But why not?  She’s excellent!
